I have a plastic bottle
With a slot cut in the lid
And any coins I gather
Quick into it then are slid
It's getting pretty heavy
But it's mostly filled with pennies
It could buy me something fancy
Like a waffle plate at Denny's
And when the day arrives
And a financial need does hap
I hope I have a backup, 'cause
I can't unscrew the cap
